Steel sheet and plate is the flat product that gets cut, formed and welded into structures, tanks, hulls, liners and protected enclosures. Thickness runs from 0.1mm to 400mm in cold rolled and hot rolled condition, with widths of 1000mm, 1219mm, 1500mm, 1800mm, 2000mm, 2500mm, 3000mm and 3500mm and lengths of 2000mm, 2400mm, 3000mm, 5800mm and 6000mm. Thickness runs from 0.1mm to 400mm. Standard widths include 1000mm, 1219mm, 1500mm, 1800mm, 2000mm, 2500mm, 3000mm and 3500mm, with lengths of 2000mm, 2400mm, 3000mm, 5800mm and 6000mm. Anything outside that is cut to your size.
Is there a minimum order quantity?

Should I order cold rolled or hot rolled?
Cold rolled is normally chosen for thin gauge parts where surface finish and thickness consistency drive the forming result. Hot rolled is chosen for structural and heavy sections. Both techniques are available in this range.
Which sub range do I use for abrasion or ballistic duty?
Wear resistant steel plate covers sliding and impact abrasion in chutes, liners and buckets. Bulletproof steel sheet covers protection work. They are separate ranges because the properties are specified for different failure modes.
What certification comes with the plate?
The company states ISO9001, BV and SGS certification, and a mill test certificate can be issued against the ordered plate. Ask for the mill test certificate at order stage so it reaches your inspector with the material.
