GL and PPGL steel coil is the aluminum zinc coated branch of the steel coil range and holds Galvalume Steel Coil and Pre-Painted Galvalume Steel Coil. One of the most widely used applications for Galvalume coil is exterior metal paneling and roofing, because it has higher corrosion resistance than standard galvanized steel coil in outdoor environments and resists corrosion better when exposed to snow ice and rain. The bare GL product is taken by formers who apply their own finish or leave the coating exposed, while PPGL arrives with the paint system already on the aluminum zinc layer for panels that go straight from the roll former to the roof. Steel grades cover G250 G350 G450 and G550 together with A36 SS400 S275jr and, with coating specified as G20 G30 G40 G60 G90 or Z150 Z275 and Z350.
