How We Run It
Enquiry with the Schedule Attached
Enquiries arrive as a quantity with no date. The supplier quotes on price alone and the delivery expectation only surfaces when it has already been missed. Give the date the material is needed on site together with the list. We answer against that date and say plainly which lines meet it, so the conversation starts from the schedule rather than ending with it.
Stock Check Line by Line
A single availability answer for a mixed list hides the truth. One scarce thickness quietly sets the delivery date for everything else on the order. Each line is checked against inventory in coil, plate, pipe and bar separately. You see which grades and thicknesses are in the yard and which have to be rolled before any commitment is made.
Quotation Split Between Stock and Production
Buyers are forced to choose between a fast partial order and a complete slow one, without the information needed to decide. The quotation shows the split. Stock lines and production lines are priced separately so you can release the critical items now, schedule the rest, and see what the split costs in freight before deciding.
Order Confirmation with Release Dates
An order placed as one block ties up cash in material that will sit in a yard, and gives the supplier no visibility of when each part is really wanted. The confirmation records what ships first and what follows, with the grade, dimensions and processing fixed for each release so later shipments are produced against the same line as the first.

Cutting, bending, decoiling, punching and decoiling are planned into the release they belong to, so the panels ship with the batch they were cut for instead of chasing it.

Several small orders shipped separately multiply freight cost and paperwork, and each one has to be cleared and received on its own. Lines that are ready are held and consolidated into one loading where you want that, checked and photographed before the doors close, with the packing list and mill test certificates released together.

What do you hold in stock?
Inventory is carried across steel coils, plates, pipes and bar in the carbon, alloy, wear resistant, bullet resistant and stainless ranges. Availability moves with demand, so send the list and we answer it line by line rather than quoting a general claim.
Can part of our order ship before the rest?
Yes. Stock lines and production lines are quoted separately so the urgent part can be released first and the balance scheduled. The order confirmation records which items belong to which release.
Will you hold finished lines and ship everything together?
Yes. Completed lines can be held and consolidated into a single loading, which is usually cheaper in freight and clearance than several part shipments. Tell us which option you want before production starts.
How do you handle a repeat order for the same item?
The confirmed order line is kept on file with grade, dimensions, processing and certificate format, so a repeat is released against that record. Quote the previous order reference and nothing has to be respecified.
What information helps you answer an urgent enquiry fastest?
Grade or the duty the material has to survive, thickness, width or diameter, length, quantity, any processing needed and the date it is wanted on site. With those we can check stock and answer without a second round of questions.
What if the grade we need is not available in time?
You are told at enquiry stage and offered the alternatives that are available, with the difference in properties stated so the substitution is your choice. We would rather lose the line than make a date by shipping a grade you did not agree to.
