Four packs built for the 48V DC plant that runs telecom: 2.4 kWh and 4.8 kWh slim modules at 482x480x132 mm, and a 10 kWh 200Ah module for sites that need a longer hold-up. All of them are grade A LiFePO4 with a smart BMS, all fit a 19-inch rack, and all are specified at 6000+ cycles because a backup battery that has to be replaced every three years costs more in truck rolls than it does in hardware.

Do these drop into an existing 48V VRLA cabinet?

Mechanically, in most cases - the 50Ah and 100Ah modules are 482x480x132 mm for a 19-inch rack. Electrically, check the rectifier's charge profile and communication; a lithium pack wants a LiFePO4 charge curve and will report over RS485 or CAN rather than sitting passive on the bus.

How long will a 48V 100Ah pack hold a site?

That is load arithmetic: 4.8 kWh divided by the site load in kW, less inverter and conversion losses. Send us the site load and the hold-up hours you need and we will tell you the module count rather than guessing at it.

What IP rating do the telecom packs have?

IP20 on the 50Ah and 100Ah rack modules, which is an indoor cabinet rating. For outdoor enclosures, the cabinet provides the protection - tell us the enclosure and we will confirm suitability.

Can they run in parallel with the existing lead-acid string?

Not recommended. Lead-acid and lithium have different charge voltages and internal resistance, so the lithium pack takes the load and the lead-acid string sits float-charged and ages. Replace the string rather than mixing chemistries.

Is heating available for cold-climate sites?

Optional heating and Bluetooth are published on the 48V 100Ah pack. Specify it at enquiry if the cabinet drops below freezing while charging.

What certificates come with them?

CE, UL, MSDS, IEC, UN38.3 and ISO are listed across the telecom range. UN38.3 and the MSDS are the ones your freight forwarder will ask for.
