OEM And ODM Battery Manufacturing

Your brand on the case, your protocol list, your packaging - with a sample approved before the bulk order runs.

Most of what leaves this factory carries somebody else's name on it. OEM and ODM are not a side service here: the production line, the cell sourcing and the BMS configuration are all set up to run a customer's specification rather than a catalogue product. The rule that keeps it honest is simple - a sample is prepared for your test before a bulk order, so the first container is not the first time anyone sees the finished pack.

The problem

Why Buyers Come To Us For This

Private-label battery projects fail in the gap between the quotation and the first shipment. The case is close but not identical, the BMS behaves differently from the sample, the protocol list does not match the inverter the distributor actually sells, and the label is wrong for the destination market. Every one of those is a specification problem, and every one of them is cheaper to fix on a sample than on a container.

The process

How It Works Step By Step

Specification

Capacity, voltage, case, BMS current rating, communication protocols, connectors, label artwork and carton. Written down before anything is built.

Sample Build

One unit built to that specification for your own testing, so the pack can be measured rather than described.

Your Test And Sign-Off

Test it against your own load profile and your inverter. Changes at this stage are cheap.

Bulk Production

The approved sample becomes the build standard, produced on our own line in Shenzhen with grade A cells and top-brand BMS.

Documentation And Shipping

Certificates, UN38.3 packing and the label set that your market requires, shipped with the goods.

In practice

What This Looks Like On The Ground

Lithium cell inspection bench at the Sike Power factory
Incoming cell inspection: capacity, internal resistance and self-discharge are what define grade A.
Engineer configuring a battery management system on a lithium pack
BMS configuration and protection threshold setting before a pack is closed.
Lithium battery charge and discharge testing equipment
Charge and discharge testing before packs are approved for shipment.
What we need from you

Send Us These And The Answer Comes Back Complete

  • Target capacity, voltage and the application the pack serves
  • Case constraints: dimensions, mounting and terminal type
  • The inverter, charger or controller it has to communicate with
  • BMS behaviour you require: current rating, protections, heating, Bluetooth
  • Label artwork, brand marks and the destination market
  • Annual volume expectation, which drives the pricing structure

FAQ

OEM And ODM Battery Manufacturing Questions

What is the difference between OEM and ODM here?

OEM means we build an existing design with your branding and your specified options. ODM means we develop the pack around your requirement - case, capacity, BMS behaviour and protocol - and you own the resulting product specification.

Do you charge for samples?

Samples are available for testing before a bulk order. Cost depends on the product and whether tooling or non-standard parts are involved; ask with the specification and you will get a straight figure.

Can you match a competitor's pack?

Send the specification and the dimensions and we will tell you what is achievable and what is not. We would rather say a case cannot be matched than ship something that nearly fits.

Whose cells go into an OEM pack?

Brand-new grade A LiFePO4 cells from top-brand cell makers, and a top-brand smart BMS. That does not change for a private-label order - it is the reason the complaint rate stays where it is.

What about certification under my own brand?

The product certificates - CE, UN38.3, MSDS, IEC, UL - relate to the product. Tell us the destination market at the specification stage so the right document set is planned rather than chased after shipping.

What is the minimum order?

It depends on the product and how much of it is custom. A branded label on a standard pack is a low bar; a bespoke case is not. Send the project and you will get a real answer.
