They use automotive terminals, which handle high output current and shed heat better than a standard lithium post. One thing to be clear about: these are energy storage packs for low-speed vehicles, light EV, golf carts, solar and robotics. They are not starter batteries and must not be used for engine cranking.

Can I use these to start an engine?

No. The source product pages state it plainly: these are energy storage batteries, not cranking batteries. If you need a starter lithium battery, contact us and we will tell you whether we can supply one rather than selling you the wrong pack.

Which case size do I need?

Measure the tray. H8 group 49 is 359x177x188 mm, H7 group 94R is 315x175x190 mm, and BCI group 24 is 260x176x220 mm. Match the case first, then choose the capacity available in it.

What capacities are available?

100Ah, 105Ah and 150Ah in the H8 group 49 case; 80Ah, 100Ah and 105Ah in the H7 group 94R case; 60Ah, 100Ah and 105Ah in the group 24 case.

Why automotive terminals rather than lithium posts?

Because the car terminal endures high power output and dissipates heat better, and because the vehicle harness is already built for it. It removes the adapter that would otherwise be the weakest joint in the install.

Is heating worth specifying?

If the vehicle is charged in freezing conditions, yes. Charging LiFePO4 below 0 degrees Celsius without heating is the fastest way to lose cell capacity permanently.
