Choosing Between These Models
Positioner or transducer, which do I need?
A transducer converts your electrical signal into a proportional air pressure. A positioner reads the actuator position back and keeps adjusting until the stem reaches the demanded position. If friction or process load stops the valve arriving where it should, you need a positioner.
What does the L or R suffix mean?
L is the linear pattern for globe and diaphragm valve actuators with a sliding stem. R is the rotary pattern for quarter turn actuators on ball and butterfly valves.
Why are the same models listed in different colours?
Housing colour is a customer option. Black, blue and yellow are already in production, so they are listed as separate items. Any other colour is painted to order.
Do you supply the limit switch box and positioner together?
Yes. Several listed models are the positioner already assembled with a 210, 410A or 410B switch box or with an internal or external position transmitter module.
Is there a minimum order quantity?
There is no fixed minimum on stock models. Regular models and spare accessories are held in stock so small orders are practical and ship in 2 to 3 days.
