How It Is Produced And Checked
Conductors are insulated in HDPE and colour-coded, twisted into pairs with lay length controlled pair by pair, then shielded with foil and where specified a braid. Electrical performance is verified against the published limits before the core is reeled. The jacket is not applied.

Working With It On Your Line
- Cut braid ends square and fold back over the jacket during termination so the shield contacts the connector body.
- Do not crush the core in the haul-off; a flattened braid raises attenuation.
- Verify braid coverage on a sample rather than trusting appearance — coverage differences are hard to see.
- Keep the drain wire accessible when you set the jacket stripping length in your finishing instructions.
