Semi-Finished FTP CAT6 LAN Cable
Foil Shielded CAT6 Core With Drain Wire for OEM Jacketing

Individually Screened Pairs Plus Braid for High Interference Sites
S/FTP CAT6 is the double-shielded core: each pair individually wrapped in aluminium-polyester foil of 25 μm or more, and the whole assembly inside a tinned copper braid at 60 to 80 percent coverage. It outperforms F/UTP and U/FTP where HVAC plant, generators or power runs share the route, and it is the core behind CPR fire-rated LAN cable for data centres and public buildings. Jacketing, printing and classification stay on your side.
Semi-Finished LAN CableCAT6 Semi-Finished Cores

Individually screened pairs plus an overall braid protect NEXT and PSNEXT margin even in dense bundles.
Supports 1000BASE-T with PoE and PoE+ under IEEE 802.3af and 802.3at, digital video, VoIP and building automation.
Stable roundness and uniform lay lengths reduce jacket bulging and improve extrusion line yield.
PVC, LSZH under IEC 60332 and CPR Dca to B2ca, or PE for outdoor and direct-burial finishing.
Generators, drives and HVAC plant break unshielded links. Two shield layers keep the channel inside specification.
Running foil taping and braiding in one plant is machine-intensive. The finished core removes both steps.
A tinned copper drain wire of 0.4 to 0.5 mm² is built in, so grounding continuity does not depend on assembly practice.

Figures are the published specification for this product. Values outside this table are confirmed in writing before order rather than estimated.
Conductors are insulated in HDPE and colour-coded, twisted into pairs with lay length controlled pair by pair, then shielded with foil and where specified a braid. Electrical performance is verified against the published limits before the core is reeled. The jacket is not applied.
Solid bare copper to IEC 60228 Class 1 insulated in colour-coded HDPE.
Pair twist pitch controlled per pair, which is what decides NEXT and PSNEXT margin.
Foil coverage and drain wire contact checked where the construction is shielded.
NEXT, PSNEXT, return loss, attenuation and delay skew checked against the published limits.
PE film-wrapped wooden drums, cores left unprinted for your own marking.

Tinned copper braid at 60 to 80 percent optical coverage.
PVC for general use, LSZH for indoor fire-safe zones under IEC 60332 or CPR Dca to B2ca, and PE for outdoor or direct-burial cable.
