Low Loss 75 Ohm Trunk Core for Long Distance Distribution
RG11 is the large-conductor member of the 75 ohm family, and in semi-finished form it gives cable makers a trunk-grade core without the foaming line. Loss is about 4.8 dB/100m at 100 MHz and conductor DC resistance around 3.5 ohms per 100 m, which is why it goes into long CATV runs and FTTH hybrid builds where an RG6 drop would not reach. The jacket is left off so the same core can be finished for indoor conduit, outdoor aerial or direct-burial duty.
Semi-Finished Coaxial Cable

Lower attenuation and lower conductor resistance keep signal usable over long trunk runs and tall building risers.
Choose PVC, LSZH or PE at the jacketing stage instead of stocking separate finished cables.
Heavy-duty plastic, wooden or ABS reels, film wrapped, with carton or pallet options for bulk shipment.
Standard, tri-shield or quad-shield, with 40 to 95 percent braid coverage on the first two builds.
A big foamed dielectric ties up an extruder for a long time. Buying the core keeps that line free for higher-turn products.
Project-driven RG11 demand is hard to schedule. Core stock lets you jacket to order in days rather than weeks.
Aerial, duct and in-building jobs all want different jackets on the same electrical core.

Production runs from conductor preparation — rod drawing, annealing, stranding and surface cleaning — through foamed insulation extrusion with controlled cell size and on-line diameter monitoring, then foil wrapping and braiding to the shield specification ordered. The line stops before jacket extrusion.
Rod drawing, annealing and surface cleaning so the insulation bonds without microvoids.
Insulation thickness and concentricity monitored continuously on line during extrusion.
Foil overlap and braid coverage checked against the ordered shield construction.
Impedance and attenuation sampled against the published values for the construction.
Reels wrapped in plastic film against moisture and dust, then cartoned or palletised.
Semi-Finished Coaxial Cable RG11 sits inside the Semi-Finished Coaxial Cable range. The products below are the closest alternatives or the parts most often ordered alongside it — compare the published specification tables rather than the descriptions when the choice is close.

Yes. The core is supplied unjacketed, so a PE jacket with your own water-blocking elements can be applied on your line.
Approximately 24 to 30 kg per 500 m, depending on conductor and shield type.
Yes, as a foil-plus-braid construction repeated twice, alongside standard and tri-shield builds.
Reels are wrapped in plastic film, then packed in carton boxes or on wooden pallets for container loading.
