Blending Tank supplied by TrueGlow Imaging

Product Overview

A mixing and blending tank from 500 L to 30,000 L in SUS304 or SUS316L, built as a vertical single layer, double layer PU insulated or three layer dimple jacket tank. Six agitator types are available: paddle, anchor, propeller, frame, side and eccentric. It is used as a flavour milk mixing tank, UHT milk mixing tank, fruit juice blending tank, beverage blending tank and juice mixing tank.

Key benefits

Why Buyers Choose This Specification

Six Agitator Types to Choose From

Paddle, anchor, propeller, frame, side and eccentric agitators each suit a different viscosity and mixing duty. Getting the agitator wrong is the most common reason a blending tank underperforms.

Three Shell Constructions

Single layer where no temperature control is needed, PU insulated where it must be held, three layer dimple jacket where it must be heated or cooled actively.

Designed and Manufactured to Requirement

The tank is designed and built to the customer's specification rather than selected from a range, which matters when it has to fit an existing plant layout.

500 L to 30,000 L

One design family covers a small flavour batch and a bulk beverage blend.

Application scenarios

Where It Is Used

  • Blending flavoured milk before UHT treatment
  • Mixing UHT milk formulations
  • Fruit juice blending to a target brix
  • Beverage blending with sugar and additives
  • Reconstituting powdered ingredients into liquid
  • Batch preparation ahead of filling
Who it is for

The Buyers This Product Suits

Dairy Processors

Flavour milk and UHT milk mixing are named applications, and both need controlled temperature during blending.

Juice and Beverage Producers

Blending to a consistent brix and flavour profile is what makes each batch match the last.

Plants With Varied Viscosities

Six agitator types mean the same supplier can cover thin juice and viscous blends.

Problems it solves

What It Fixes

Ingredients Not Fully Dispersing

Choosing the right agitator type for the viscosity is what solves it, and six options are available.

Temperature Drifting During Blending

PU insulated and three layer dimple jacket constructions hold or actively control the batch temperature.

Tanks That Do Not Fit the Plant

Design and manufacture follow the customer's requirements, including dimensions and connections.

How It Ships And What Comes With It

Packing And Loading

Shipping volume for this item depends on the configuration and capacity you select, so no fixed container figure is published. Confirm the specification and the destination and a loading plan is issued with the quotation, rather than a figure we cannot support.

Documentation On File

Sourcing And Inspection

This product is supplied through TrueGlow Imaging, working with manufacturing partners whose facilities are visited and verified rather than taken on trust. In-process quality control and delivery supervision are available so goods are inspected before the container is sealed. Certifications quoted on this page are those stated on the product specification and belong to that product range rather than to our trading entity, so ask for the certificate covering your specific item.

Handling guide

Getting It Right First Time

Step 1

Specify product viscosity and the ingredients to be dispersed before choosing the agitator.

Step 2

Decide whether the batch needs insulation only or active heating and cooling.

Step 3

Size the tank to your filling batch, allowing freeboard for agitation.

Step 4

Choose SUS316L for acidic juice and aggressive cleaning chemistry.

Step 5

Include the tank in the CIP circuit and verify agitator cleaning coverage.

Guides That Cover This Product

Pasteurisation Versus UHT for Liquid Dairy

Three thermal profiles, three different machines and three different distribution models. Which one your plant needs is decided by shelf life and cold chain, not by capacity.

Specifying a CIP System That Actually Cleans

A cleaning cycle that runs without flow cleans nothing and reports success. Conductivity monitoring, flow switches and return pump selection are what make CIP verifiable.
