The most expensive mistake in importing equipment is finding the problem after the container lands. Here is how inspection works before that point, what certification actually covers, and an honest list of what we do not hold.

How A Supplier Gets Approved
A directory listing tells you a company exists. It does not tell you whether they manufacture or trade, whether the photographs are theirs, whether the capacity claim is real, or whether the price survives contact with a specification. Those four questions are answered by visiting, which is what a buyer 8,000 kilometres away cannot do.
Factory identification, verification of the facility against the quotation, and written terms covering price, lead time, payment, inspection rights and warranty are what we put in that gap. A supplier used repeatedly behaves differently from one used once, so continuity is part of how the arrangement works rather than an accident of it.
Four Stages Before The Container Is Sealed
Criteria Agreed First
What will be measured, on how many pieces, against which drawing revision. Agreed before production, because criteria raised afterwards are a negotiation rather than a requirement.
In-Process Control
Checks during production catch a drifting punch or a wrong material grade while the batch can still be corrected at the factory's cost.
First Article Measured
One part measured properly against the drawing is worth more than a hundred counted in a box. On machinery, that is a functional check rather than a dimensional one.
Loading Supervised
Delivery supervision confirms that what was inspected is what actually goes into the container, and that the documentation travels with it.

Scope Stated Range By Range
Crane Range
CE and ISO across the standard overhead and jib crane ranges, with the pillar jib cranes CE certified. Certificates are issued with the documentation package on request.
EOT Cranes
ISO 9001:2015 for quality, ISO 14001 for environmental management, ISO 45001:2018 for occupational health and safety, plus CE. Corporate audits usually want all four rather than a CE mark alone.
Transformer Conductors
Copper strip stated against IEC, BIS and ASTM. Copper foil stated against American, European, German and Japanese standards. Name the applicable standard on the purchase order rather than assuming it.
Process Machinery
Control components are named brands rather than described as imported: SIEMENS PLC, Spirax Sarco steam valves, Schneider electrics, Burkert, JUMO, Danfoss and Mitsubishi. That is what makes spares obtainable for the machine's whole life.
What We Have Not Confirmed
- Registered company name and registration number. The source site footer shows Shanghai Jundong Tech Info Co., Ltd. and a cifshanghai.com copyright line; this should be confirmed and the footer updated before launch.
- Full street address. The source site gives only 'JiangYue Road, Shanghai, China' with no building or unit number.
- Company email address. The source site used an obfuscated placeholder throughout, so [email protected] is used on this rebuild and must be created or replaced before launch.
- Office telephone number. The source site published +86 123-456-7890, which is a template placeholder and has not been reproduced.
- Founding year. The source site shows 'Since 2005' in the header bar and 'Since 2007' in the about text and footer. Neither is stated on this rebuild.
- Customer counts and service fee. The source about page claimed over 3,000 customers, over 500 long-term customers and a 3 percent service fee. These sat inside an obvious template block and have not been reproduced.
- Certification scope. CE, ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001, ISO 45001:2018, IEC, BIS and ASTM claims come from individual product pages and apply to those product ranges only. Certificate copies should be collected before they are used in marketing.
- Social media accounts. The source footer linked Facebook, Twitter and YouTube icons with no working destinations, so no social links are published here.

Questions About Evidence
Is the company itself certified?
The certifications quoted on product pages belong to those product ranges and to the manufacturers that hold them: CE and ISO on the cranes, ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001:2018 on the EOT crane range, and IEC, BIS and ASTM on transformer copper. We would rather say that plainly than let you assume otherwise in an audit.
Who inspects the goods?
Factory visits, in-process quality control and delivery supervision are part of the service. Inspection criteria are agreed with you before production rather than negotiated after it.
What if a delivery does not meet specification?
Send photographs, the measurements and the order reference. A specification failure found before the container is sealed is a rework at the factory's cost, which is why inspection before shipment matters more than any warranty clause.
Can we audit the manufacturing source ourselves?
Ask. For a substantial ongoing requirement a customer visit to the manufacturing source can usually be arranged.
Can you inspect goods from a supplier we already use?
Yes. Quality control and delivery supervision can be applied to a supplier you found yourself.
Why do some product pages say a figure is not published?
Because the product data does not carry it. Inventing a plausible number is how a buyer ends up rejecting equipment that met the specification they were shown.
