Industrial Water Transfer

Plant water, process circulation, booster and liquid transfer duties across the full Flowsteer size band.

Industry Pain Points

What Goes Wrong on These Duties

  • A pump population that grew one purchase at a timeFive brands in one plant means five spares kits, five sets of drawings and five suppliers to chase.
  • Duties spread from DN 25 to DN 400Few series cover both ends, so most sites end up with a small-pump supplier and a large-pump supplier.
  • Process water chemistry that changes with the processA material specification written for one product run may not hold for the next.
  • Maintenance windows that keep getting longerEvery seal change that needs pipework broken adds hours that the production schedule does not have.
What Buyers Need

What a Pump Has to Deliver Here

  • One hydraulic family across the whole size band
  • Metal and polymer wetted parts available within the same catalogue
  • Back pull-out construction to shorten maintenance windows
  • A supplier who will state what is unconfirmed rather than guess

Series Specified for Industrial Water Transfer

Typical Scenarios

Where These Pumps Are Installed

  • Tank-to-tank transferDE series pumps from DN 25 through DN 400 on one design philosophy.
  • Process circulationISO CI pumps on closed and open circuits up to 500 m³/h and 80 m.
  • Aggressive process streamsKCP lined pumps where the chemistry rules out metal wetted parts.
  • Drainage and sump dutiesVNP vertical pumps on collection pits that no horizontal pump can serve.
Delivery Capability

How We Handle an Order for This Duty

  • Duty point, water analysis and temperature recorded with every enquiry
  • Unconfirmed specifications marked TBC and confirmed in writing before order
  • Bare shaft or complete sets to suit a rebuild or a new installation
  • Export crating with the pump bolted into the crate

Cavitation is not a pump defect. It is a suction system defect that destroys the pump, and it is almost always designed in rather than developed.

Questions

Industrial Water Transfer Pump FAQ

Can one supplier really cover DN 25 to DN 400?

The DE series is published across that band and the other four series overlap it, so most industrial water duties on a site can be met from one catalogue.

How do I decide between metal and polymer wetted parts?

By the water analysis and the temperature. If the chemistry attacks iron and stainless, the KCP series in PP, PE or UHMW-PE is the answer; if it does not, the metal series give higher flow, head and temperature.

What does back pull-out save on a maintenance window?

The pipework stays bolted to the casing, so flange breaking, re-gasketing and pipe re-alignment all disappear from the job. What remains is uncoupling the driver and withdrawing the rotating assembly.

Why are some specifications marked TBC on your product pages?

Because the source catalogue does not publish them. We would rather mark a value unconfirmed than print a number we cannot stand behind, and we confirm it in writing at enquiry.
