DIN24255 Water Centrifugal Pumps FAQ
Are EN733 and DIN24255 the same thing?
Dimensionally, yes. BS EN733 is the current European standard for end-suction pumps rated at 10 bar and DIN24255 is the older German standard it replaced. Both are quoted because both still appear in specifications.
What pressure rating can you supply for fire duties?
1.2 MPa is standard and 1.6 MPa is available on request. Confirm the requirement at enquiry stage — the rating cannot be changed after the pump is built.
Can I get ANSI flanges on a DIN pump?
Yes. DIN2501 is the standard flange and ANSI B16.5 150lb is an option, which is how the series handles import projects caught between pipe classes.
What is the temperature limit?
-10 °C to 105 °C, which covers chilled water circuits and most heating circulation duties from one pump type.
