Can a lined pump really carry 200 kW?
Yes. The KCP publishes a drive rating up to 200 kW, an operating pressure to 10 bar and discharge branches from DN 25 to DN 250, which puts it well beyond the dosing-pump category.
What is the solids limit?
Approximately 10 percent. Above that, look at the VNP vertical pump, which is rated to approximately 20 percent.
Which polymer for my water?
PP is the general-purpose choice, PE widens chemical coverage on cold duties and UHMW-PE adds wear resistance for abrasive streams. Send the water analysis and the temperature and we will specify it.
What happens if a lined pump runs dry?
The polymer has no liquid to carry heat away and will distort long before a metal casing would. Dry running protection matters more on a lined pump than on a metal one.
