What do the CI size designations mean?
A designation such as 80×50-200 gives the suction branch, the discharge branch and the nominal impeller diameter in millimetres. It is the ISO 2858 way of naming a pump and it is what has to match when you replace one.
When is SS316 worth the extra over SS304?
When the water carries chlorides — brackish water, heavily chlorinated water or chemically dosed streams. SS316 contains molybdenum and resists chloride pitting where SS304 will not.
What head and flow can the CI reach?
Up to 500 m³/h and up to 80 m across the range. No single designation reaches both limits, so the duty point decides the size.
Is operating temperature published for the CI series?
No. The source catalogue publishes size, capacity, head and materials but not temperature or speed, so we mark those TBC and confirm them at enquiry.
