Who It Is For
Who Benefits Most from S1(n)-35
The buyers and site teams this product was designed around
36 kV Switchgear Manufacturers
At 36 kV internal clearances dominate cubicle size and insulated busbar is what makes a compact design possible.
Renewable Substation Builders
Collector substations at 33 or 35 kV built to a small footprint.
Data Centre and Critical Facility Operators
36 kV incomers where halogen free is a building requirement.
Industrial Plant Electrical Departments
35 kV distribution switchgear inside process buildings.
Problems It Solves
Problems This Product Removes
Every one of these is a failure mode we have seen on real networks
36 kV Air Clearance Requirements Make Cubicles Large
Insulating the busbar raises withstand so the physical design can stay compact.
Higher Voltage Means Less Tolerance for Pollution
A dust film on bare 36 kV bar is a genuine flashover risk. An insulated surface is far more tolerant.
Animal Ingress Faults Are Catastrophic at 36 kV
Insulated bar removes the bridging path entirely.
Halogen Release Inside a Building Is Unacceptable
The halogen free formulation is required in occupied and critical facilities.
Application Scenarios
Where It Is Used

Manufacturing and Quality
How It Is Made and Checked
Compounding extrusion radiation cross linking expansion and test all under one roof in Dalian
-
01
Compounding
Base polyolefin antioxidants flame retardants and functional fillers are mixed to a recipe held under our own formulation control rather than bought as a masterbatch.
-
02
Extrusion
The compound is extruded to the required wall and diameter. Co extruded products form two or three layers in a single pass so no interface can trap air.
-
03
Radiation Cross Linking
Electron beam irradiation creates the cross linked network that gives the material its shape memory. This step is what makes the product heat shrinkable.
-
04
Expansion
The cross linked part is heated expanded to its supplied diameter and cooled under tension so the expanded shape is locked in until heat is applied again.
-
05
Test and Inspection
More than 90 percent of product performance tests are carried out in our own laboratory including tensile elongation heat aging dielectric strength and tracking resistance.
-
06
Packing and Traceability
Each batch carries a production record so a delivered part can be traced back to its compound lot and process parameters.

Use Guide
How to Select and Install S1(n)-35
The sequence our engineers walk customers through on every first installation
-
01
Confirm the Voltage Class
Use S1(n)-35 from 6 to 36 kV. Below 24 kV S1(n)-10 is the economic choice.
-
02
Measure the Bar Diagonal and Perimeter
The tube must clear the diagonal and recover onto the perimeter.
-
03
Deburr Every Edge
Sharp corners cut a recovering tube. Break all edges first.
-
04
Degrease the Bar
Machining oil and oxide prevent the tube sitting cleanly on the metal.
-
05
Shrink from the Middle
Work outward to both ends so trapped air escapes.
-
06
Cover Joints with Molded Covers
Use S1-B lap joint covers on bolted connections.
