Dalian United Polymer Material Co., Ltd. has developed produced and sold heat shrink products braided sleeving and other functional polymer materials for 24 years. Compounding extrusion radiation cross linking expansion molding and testing all happen at our own plant in Dalian.

A Functional Polymer Manufacturer Serving Seven Industries
Dalian United Polymer Material Co., Ltd. specialises in the research development production and sale of heat shrink products braided sleeving and other functional polymer materials. Our focus is covering and protection solutions for system components delivering insulation waterproofing abrasion resistance impact resistance colour coding wire bundling electromagnetic shielding and identification.
Products are used across automotive electronics telecommunications defence aerospace power marine and shipbuilding. This site covers the power industry range specifically because the requirements are different enough to deserve their own catalogue.
In 2019 we established a branch in Daman India to accelerate international market coverage. We supply SIEMENS GE EATON and CONTITECH among other international customers and hold Ford supplier approval against specification ES-LU5T-1A263-AA.

The Dalian Plant
Shihe Industrial Park Puwan New District Dalian Liaoning. Compounding extrusion irradiation expansion molding and test all sit on this one site.
Extrusion and Processing
Extrusion lines running single wall dual wall and co extruded product. Line side stations let an operator check wall thickness and concentricity without stopping the run.
Braiding and Winding
Braiding and winding lines feeding the sleeve and screen products. The same winding discipline lets us supply cable accessory tubing on spool rather than only in cut lengths.
Semi Finished Stock
Spooled semi finished product held between extrusion and expansion. Holding stock at this stage is how a made to order size still ships in 15 to 25 working days.
Finished Goods Warehouse
Packed and labelled finished goods staged for despatch. Every carton carries a batch record that traces back to the compound lot and process parameters.
Site Overview
One site one quality system one production record. Nothing in the electrical path of a UPM accessory is subcontracted to a third party.

More than 90 percent of product performance testing is carried out in our own laboratory. That covers tensile strength ultimate elongation heat aging water absorption low temperature flexibility heat shock dielectric strength volume resistivity dielectric constant loss factor tracking and erosion resistance flammability and colour fastness to light.
Every finished carton carries a production record that traces back to the compound lot and the process parameters that made it. If a question arises three years after delivery we can still tell you exactly what you received.
Manufacturing
How a Heat Shrink Accessory Is Actually Made

Compounding
Base polyolefin antioxidants flame retardants and functional fillers are mixed to a recipe held under our own formulation control rather than bought as a masterbatch.

Extrusion
The compound is extruded to the required wall and diameter. Co extruded products form two or three layers in a single pass so no interface can trap air.

Radiation Cross Linking
Electron beam irradiation creates the cross linked network that gives the material its shape memory. This step is what makes the product heat shrinkable.

Expansion
The cross linked part is heated expanded to its supplied diameter and cooled under tension so the expanded shape is locked in until heat is applied again.

Test and Inspection
More than 90 percent of product performance tests are carried out in our own laboratory including tensile elongation heat aging dielectric strength and tracking resistance.

Each batch carries a production record so a delivered part can be traced back to its compound lot and process parameters.
