Keychains here come in two constructions. Metal keychains are die-struck and filled with enamel colour, and can be finished on both sides so the logo faces one way and a contact detail or slogan the other. Soft PVC keychains are moulded in a non-toxic rubber compound, either flat 2D or fully sculpted 3D, which lets a mascot or a building be reproduced as a shape rather than a printed picture. Metal reads as a gift; PVC reads as a character and is cheaper at volume. In both cases a mould or die is cut from your artwork, so the shape, the number of colours and the fitting are settled before tooling starts.

Metal or Soft PVC
Enamelled metal feels substantial and suits corporate gifts and awards-adjacent items. Soft PVC is lighter, cheaper at volume and can be moulded into a full 3D character. The choice usually follows whether the recipient is a customer or a child.
2D or 3D
A 2D design sits flat with colour areas separated by raised borders. A 3D design is sculpted with depth and needs a more complex mould. 3D costs more in tooling but is what makes a mascot recognisable.
Colours and Artwork
Enamel and moulded rubber reproduce flat solid colour, not gradients. Supply vector artwork with fonts outlined and the colours separated as distinct areas; we will tell you which details need enlarging to survive the tooling.
Fitting and Packaging
Decide on the split ring, chain, clasp or lobster fitting and whether each unit ships loose, on a printed backing card, or in a gift box. Printed packaging is made in house and quoted in the same order.
Keychains Questions
Can a keychain be different on each side?
Yes. Metal keychains can be enamelled on both sides, which is commonly used for a logo on the front and a website or contact line on the reverse. Both sides are quoted together.
How small can the detail be?
Fine lines and small text hit a limit in both enamel and moulded rubber. Send the artwork with the intended finished size and we will flag which elements need thickening before the tooling is cut.
Is the soft PVC safe for children?
The rubber keychains are made in a non-toxic soft PVC compound. Tell us the destination market and intended age group at quotation so the material specification is agreed in writing.
Do I pay for the mould separately?
Tooling is quoted with the order. A physical sample is produced from it for approval before bulk production, and the custom sample cost is refunded once the bulk order is confirmed.
Can you supply keychains on printed backing cards?
Yes. Header cards, hang tags and gift boxes are printed and finished in house, so retail units arrive assembled rather than needing packing on arrival.
