Decisions to Make Before You Order
Moulded PVC or Sewn Plush
Choose moulded PVC or silicone when the character has sharp features, a fixed pose and detail that has to survive at a small size. Choose plush when the doll is meant to be held, hugged or sold as a soft toy. They are different tooling routes and different price curves, so decide before sampling.
Size and Level of Detail
A 6cm keyring figure and a 25cm shelf figure carry very different amounts of detail. Tell us the finished height first, then we will say which parts of the artwork need simplifying so the face still reads at that scale.
Sample and Mould Approval
For a moulded doll, the mould is the expensive step. A physical sample is produced from the sculpt and approved before bulk tooling is committed, and the custom sample cost is refunded once the bulk order is confirmed.
Packaging the Doll
Decide early whether the doll ships loose in a polybag, on a printed backing card, or in a window gift box. The packaging is printed and glued in house, so it can be quoted in the same order as the figure.

What do you need to start a custom doll?
Character artwork in PDF, AI, PSD or JPEG at a minimum of 300dpi with fonts outlined, the finished height in centimetres, and a note on whether you want a moulded figure or a sewn plush.
Are the materials safe for children?
Soft PVC dolls are made in non-toxic material when the order specifies it. Tell us the destination market and the intended age group at quotation so the material is agreed in writing before production.
Can I see a physical doll before the full run?
Yes, and you should. A custom sample is produced and charged, and the cost is refunded once the bulk order is confirmed. Photographs of the finished goods are also sent for approval before shipment.
Can you print the gift box and hang tag as well?
Yes. Boxes, backing cards and hang tags are printed and finished in house, including foil stamping and laser-cut windows, so the packaging matches the figure it holds.
How are the dolls shipped?
Express or air shipping runs 3-4 working days and sea shipping 15-18 days. Plush dolls are bulky, so sea freight usually makes sense for larger quantities while air suits launch deadlines.
