Decisions to Make Before You Order
Knit Detail and Needle Count
A higher needle count holds finer detail but costs more. Bold marks, stripes and simple wordmarks knit cleanly at standard counts. If your logo has fine gradients, small type or many colours, we will simplify it in the knit layout and show you the result before production.
Sizing and Split
Unisex sizing covers most promotional and merchandise use with one or two size bands. Give us your expected split - most buyers weight it towards the middle band. For team or uniform orders, send the actual size list rather than an estimate.
Colours in the Design
Each additional yarn colour adds cost and limits how tight the pattern can be. Two to four colours covers most brand marks. Send Pantone references; the yarn is matched to them and the finished pairs are checked by hand against the approved reference.
Packing and Presentation
Decide early: loose in cartons for a giveaway, banded in pairs, or bagged with a printed header card for retail. Header cards, tags and barcode labels are printed in house, so retail-ready packing does not need a second supplier or a second shipment.
Socks Questions
Is the logo knitted in or printed on?
Knitted in. The pattern is formed by the yarn, so it will not crack, peel or wash out. That is also why fine detail has to be adapted - we return a knit layout for your approval before anything is made.
What artwork do you need to start?
A vector logo in PDF or AI with fonts outlined, plus your Pantone references and which part of the sock each element should sit on. If you only have a JPEG, send it at a minimum of 300dpi and we will redraw it as part of the free design support.
How long does a bulk sock order take?
Allow 5-7 working days for bulk production once the knit layout is approved, extending to 10-12 working days on large quantity orders. Shipping is then 3-4 working days by air or 15-18 days by sea.
Can you supply them retail-ready with barcodes?
Yes. Header cards, hang tags and barcode labels are printed here, including thermal transfer barcode printing, and applied before the pairs are bagged, so the stock can go straight onto a shelf.
Do you have a minimum order?
Minimums vary by product; some lines carry none and others start at 500-1000 pcs. Knitted socks need enough volume to justify setting the pattern, so tell us your target quantity and we will confirm the minimum for your design.
