Solution
Hot circuits punish the seal first. The equipment here is chosen so the circuit runs unattended: magnetic drives where there is no seal to fail, and centrifugal pumps rated for the temperature rather than pushed past it.
From Enquiry To Site
Temperature is only half the specification. Circuit resistance and the fluid itself decide whether the pump survives.
Fluid
Fluid type, working temperature and corrosiveness are confirmed first, because they rule out entire pump families.
Circuit Resistance
We work from the circuit layout, including heat exchangers and valves, so the pump is not throttled at start up.
Pump Type
Magnetic drive where the temperature and risk justify it, sealed centrifugal where the duty is within the rating.
Protection
We state what the circuit needs around the pump so it is designed in rather than added after the first failure.
Commissioning
Start up sequence and run-in checks supplied with the pump, including venting and temperature ramp guidance.
Operation
Simple checks on flow, temperature difference and noise that tell an operator something has changed.

The magnetic drive heat transfer line is rated to 350 degrees Celsius for hot oil duty. The hot water and high temperature centrifugal models carry their own limits on each data sheet.
Hot oil degrades seal faces and elastomers, and a leak on a hot oil line is a fire risk. With a magnetic drive there is no shaft passing through the housing.
The heat transfer line covers both, but the model and the rating depend on the fluid and temperature. Always state which fluid is in the circuit.
The heat transfer builds run from 10 L per minute at 8 m head to 30 L per minute at 40 m head. Larger duties move to the high temperature centrifugal models.
We supply the pump and tell you what the circuit needs around it. The protection equipment is usually sourced locally with the rest of the installation.
Fluid, temperature, flow and circuit resistance are what let us confirm a pump that will still be running next year.
