Hardened gears in replaceable bearing sleeves, with a safety valve in the cap, for oil transfer, fuel supply and hydraulic power.

Overview
The K2CY external gear pump delivers non corrosive lubricating oil or equivalent liquid without solid particles or fibre, at viscosity from 5 to 1500 cSt. It is used as a transfer or booster pump, as a fuel pump for delivery pressurisation and injection, and as a hydraulic or lubricating pump.
The pump is built from gears, axles, pump body, cap, safety valve and axle end seals. The heat treated gears have higher hardness and strength and rotate with the axles inside replaceable bearing sleeves.
| Working Principle | Double Gears |
|---|---|
| Main applications | Oil |
| Driver | Electric motor, diesel motor |
| Power Specs | 380/415 V 3phase; 220/240 V 1phase;50hz/60hz |
| Max. permissible fluid temperature | 300°C |
| Type of connection | Flange, Thread, Quick Coupled |
Key Benefits
Heat treated gears give higher hardness and intensity, which is what resists wear on continuous oil duty.
The wearing element is a sleeve that can be renewed rather than a pump that has to be scrapped.
A safety valve in the pump cap protects the pump and the line if a downstream valve closes.
Driven by electric motor or diesel engine, which suits sites without reliable mains power.
Application Scenarios
Transfer and booster duty moving lubricating oil between tanks and points of use.
Delivery, pressurisation and injection duty in fuel supply systems.
Supplying hydraulic power in a system and feeding lubrication circuits across industry.
Fixed displacement per revolution builds pressure regardless of viscosity inside the rated band.
Replaceable bearing sleeves and hardened gears move the wear into serviceable parts.
The integral safety valve relieves pressure instead of transmitting it to the pipework.

Specifications
Published K2CY data. The standard oil duty is quoted below 80 degrees Celsius while the pump temperature limit is higher, so state your working temperature.

Materials And Process
| SKWY centrifugal oil pump | The centrifugal pump moves far larger volumes at lower viscosity. The gear pump builds pressure on thicker oil. |
|---|---|
| Progressing cavity pump | A screw pump handles solids and much higher viscosity, but takes more space and costs more to service. |
Use Guide
Non corrosive lubricating oil or equivalent without solid particles and fibre, within 5 to 1500 cSt.
Set the integral valve to protect the system, not just the pump, and record the setting.
Fill the pump before the first run. Gear pumps rely on the oil for lubrication.
Fit and maintain a suction filter, because particles are what wear gears and sleeves.
