The highest temperature rating in the vertical range, for pressurised circulation at up to 240 degrees Celsius.

Overview
The SKGS is the high temperature build of the inline body, published for a maximum permissible fluid temperature of 240 degrees Celsius.
Hydraulics match the rest of the vertical family, 1.5 to 1500 m3/h with head to 150 m and drives to 160 kW, so upgrading the temperature rating does not change the installation envelope.
| Working Principle | Centrifugal |
|---|---|
| Main applications | Water |
| Driver | Electric motor |
| Power Specs | 380/415 V 220v,3phase;50hz/60hz |
| Max. permissible fluid temperature | 240°C |
| Type of connection | Flange |
Key Benefits
Covers pressurised high temperature circulation above the limit of hot water models.
Flange sizes and installation dimensions follow the vertical family, so pipework does not have to be redesigned.
Hard alloy mechanical seal faces or a packing gland, chosen against temperature and system pressure.
No floor footprint, which matters in energy centres where equipment is already packed together.
Application Scenarios
Pressurised circulation in process plants operating well above 100 degrees.
Continuous circulation of recovered heat at high temperature.
Distribution loops where the medium is held under pressure above its atmospheric boiling point.
A pump rated for the real circuit temperature removes the repeated failure that comes from running past a rating.
Because the body matches the rest of the family, the temperature upgrade fits the existing flange positions.
We ask for design pressure as well as temperature, because above 100 degrees one without the other is meaningless.

Specifications
Published SKGS data. Correct pressurisation of the circuit is a condition of the temperature rating, not an optional extra.

Materials And Process
| SKGR hot water pump | The SKGR is rated to 120 degrees. Above that this model is the correct selection. |
|---|---|
| SKWS horizontal high temperature pump | Same 240 degree rating on the horizontal platform where floor space is available and access matters more. |
Use Guide
Water above 100 degrees must be held above its vapour pressure throughout the circuit.
Pipe supports and guides must let the line move without loading the pump flanges.
Gradual temperature rise protects the seal faces and the casing.
Log flow, pressure, temperature and current when stable, then compare monthly.
Answers
240 degrees Celsius as published.
No. It remains 1.5 to 1500 m3/h with head to 150 m.
For thermal oil use the magnetic drive heat transfer line, rated to 350 degrees with no shaft seal.
Hard alloy faces plus correct circuit pressurisation and venting. The circuit design matters as much as the seal specification.
Yes, the SKWS carries the same 240 degree rating.
