Inline mounting for hot water circuits, rated to 120 degrees, so a heating loop does not have to give up floor area.

Overview
The SKGR is the hot water build of the vertical inline range. It handles pressurised circulation of high temperature water while sitting directly in the pipe run.
Flow runs from 1.5 to 1500 m3/h with head to 150 m, drives to 160 kW and a maximum permissible fluid temperature of 120 degrees Celsius.
| Working Principle | Centrifugal |
|---|---|
| Main applications | Water |
| Driver | Electric motor |
| Power Specs | 380/415 V 220v , 3phase ; 50hz / 60hz |
| Max. permissible fluid temperature | 120°C |
| Type of connection | Flange |
Key Benefits
Hot water duty without the floor space a horizontal set needs, which suits boiler houses and energy centres.
Straight through flow removes elbows, which matters more on a hot circuit where every fitting is an expansion point.
Hard alloy mechanical seal faces or a packing gland, specified with temperature and system pressure in mind.
Cast iron, stainless steel or bronze wetted parts depending on treatment chemistry.
Application Scenarios
Circulating hot water in closed pressurised circuits inside buildings and energy centres.
Feeding jacketed vessels and exchangers with hot water at controlled flow.
Moving recovered hot water between source and consumer.
A 120 degree rating removes the cause of repeated seal failures on hot circuits.
Inline mounting means the pump takes pipe length rather than floor area.
Fewer bends and a straight flow path reduce the number of joints on a circuit that expands and contracts daily.

Specifications
Published SKGR data. On closed circuits, send the system pressure as well as the temperature so the seal arrangement is right.

Materials And Process
| SKGS vertical high temperature pump | The SKGS carries a 240 degree rating for circuits that run above the SKGR limit. |
|---|---|
| SKWR horizontal hot water pump | Same hot water duty on the horizontal platform, with easier all round access. |
Use Guide
Hot pipework moves. Supports and guides must take the weight and the expansion without loading the flanges.
Air collects at the highest point, often the pump. Vent before start and after every refill.
Bring the circuit up in stages so the casing and seal heat evenly.
Record flow, pressure and current at working temperature as the baseline.
Answers
Up to 120 degrees Celsius on this model.
Use the SKGS vertical or SKWS horizontal models, rated to 240 degrees.
No. Thermal oil circuits should use the magnetic drive heat transfer line rated to 350 degrees.
No, it is carried by the pipework, which must be supported either side of the pump.
1.5 to 1500 m3/h with head to 150 m.
