Drilling and screwing a long rail by hand means marking, clamping and re-clamping, and a fastener pattern that shifts from shift to shift. A CNC assembly machine holds the datum once and repeats the pattern for the whole batch, which is what your inspection report actually needs.

Because these are machines built to order. Travels, forces and cycle times are set against your part at design review and then measured and recorded before shipment. Publishing a number before that point would be guesswork.
