Why not just print black ink on a white sticker?
Because the die cut edge stays white and shows as a bright outline against a dark product. Printing on genuinely black stock removes that edge entirely.
Can you print colour artwork on black stock?
Yes, but it needs an opaque white underprint laid down first, or the colours will sink into the black. We will tell you at preflight which elements need it.
What is the 3D die cut effect?
A raised or domed finish over the die-cut label, which gives the sticker depth and a harder wearing surface. It suits logo marks better than fine text.
Will a black sticker show scuffs?
Large dark areas do show handling marks more than light ones. A matt lamination or a varnish over the face reduces fingerprinting noticeably, and we can sample both.
Can I get the artwork checked before I commit?
