Engineering notes
Yellow zinc is the finish European merchants ask for first. The chromate conversion layer over the zinc adds a measurable step in corrosion protection compared with clear-passivated white zinc, and the warm gold tone reads as 'construction grade' on a shelf — which matters more than engineers like to admit in the DIY channel.
Mechanically it is the same screw as our white zinc line: identical cold-headed blank, identical coarse thread form, identical countersunk head. That means a distributor can carry both finishes against one set of dimensional data and one set of drive tooling.
