What makes this job different
Barns, machinery sheds, carports and warehouse envelopes are fixed with the same self-drilling roof screws as architectural work, but the economics and the chemistry are different. The roof areas are large enough that cost per fixing matters, and livestock ammonia and coastal salt attack coatings that would last indefinitely on an office building.

Coating failure in livestock buildings
Ammonia attacks plain electroplate. Ruspert and bi-metal options exist precisely for this exposure — tell us the building use.
Cost across very large roof areas
Concealed lap fixings do not need a colour-matched head. Most roof packages mix plain zinc for laps with coloured screws for visible planes.
Variable purlin gauge on older structures
Re-roofing work often meets purlins nobody documented. Flute length is matched to the 1.5 – 5 mm drill capacity band.
