Not every roof needs a colour match. Agricultural buildings, warehouses, carports, industrial sheds and the underside of everything are fixed with plain zinc-plated screws, and this is that fastener — the same sealed hex washer head and drill point, without the polymer coat and without its cost.

It is also the right specification for concealed fixings, where the screw is covered by the next panel in the lap and nobody will ever see it. Buying a coloured screw for a concealed position is money spent on nothing, which is why most roof packages mix the two lines.
