The build of the micro gear family specified when a leak is the thing you cannot allow, not the thing you plan to maintain.

Overview
This magnetic drive pump uses the same principle as the rest of the SKQB family: an outer magnet on the motor turns an inner magnet on the gear set through a closed containment housing. Nothing rotates through the casing wall, so there is no leak path.
It is chosen where the liquid is hazardous, volatile or expensive, and where a conventional sealed pump would need repeated attention. Typical work is closed circuit circulation, metered additive feed and point of use transfer.

Key Benefits
With no shaft through the housing there is nothing for vapour or liquid to escape past.
The most frequent maintenance item on a small pump disappears, which matters where access is difficult.
Under overload the magnets decouple rather than stalling the drive, which protects the motor.
Fixed displacement per revolution keeps the delivered volume tied to speed.
Application Scenarios
Liquids where vapour escape is a safety or product quality problem.
Loops that run continuously with nobody watching the pump.
Moving liquid to a point of use without altering it and without a gland to watch.
There is no gland. The containment housing is a static barrier, not a running seal.
Removing the wear item that fails most often extends the interval between interventions.
Magnetic coupling slips instead of transmitting a stall, which protects the motor and the gear set.

Specifications
Selection is made on flow, pressure and liquid compatibility. Send all three rather than a model number from an old order.

Materials And Process
| Sealed gear pump | A sealed pump costs less initially but adds a seal to maintain and a path for leakage. |
|---|---|
| Peristaltic pump | A tube pump tolerates dry running and aggressive chemicals but pulses and wears tubes. This pump runs smoother for longer on clean liquid. |
Use Guide
Particles wear the internals and can decouple the magnets. Filter the suction.
No liquid means no lubrication. Use level protection where the supply can empty.
If output stops while the motor runs, the magnets have slipped. Stop, find the cause and restart.
Log speed against delivered flow once installed so drift is visible later.
Answers
Torque crosses a closed containment housing magnetically, so no shaft passes through the casing.
The magnets decouple. The pump stops delivering while the motor keeps turning, so remove the cause before restarting.
No. Abrasives wear the internals. Use a progressing cavity or lobe pump for solids.
Clean liquids including solvents, reagents, lubricants and process liquids. Send the specific liquid for confirmation.
Yes, it is a build of the same magnetic drive micro gear pump range.
