The base model of the magnetic drive micro gear family: precision low flow, no shaft seal, and flow that follows shaft speed.

Overview
The SKQB micro pump is a magnetic drive gear pump that uses positive displacement to deliver precise low flow. The motor drives the gear set through a magnetic coupling, so no shaft passes through the housing and there is no seal to leak or replace.
It is used in three ways: circulation through a closed circuit for heating, cooling, filtering, mixing, hydrating, degassing and system pressure control; metering of additives, coatings, lubricants, adhesives and solvents; and transfer duty that delivers liquid to a point of use without altering it.
| Applications include | ingredient dispense, point-of-use dispense, lubrication, sampling, additives, and sample preparation |
|---|---|
| Gears | PEEK |
Key Benefits
The magnetic coupling removes the leak path and the usual maintenance item on a small pump.
Fixed displacement per revolution turns a variable speed drive into a metering control.
Gear pumps deliver near continuously, which matters when feeding an analyser or a coating head.
PEEK gears are available where metal to metal contact is unacceptable for the liquid.
Application Scenarios
Heating, cooling, filtering, mixing, hydrating and degassing loops that run for long periods unattended.
Ingredient dispense, point of use dispense, lubrication, additives and sample preparation.
Batch feed, waste extraction, fluid supply and hazardous liquid handling without changing the liquid.
On a small pump the shaft seal is the shortest lived part. Magnetic drive removes it completely.
Positive displacement keeps flow tied to speed rather than to downstream conditions.
Gear action gives smooth delivery, which keeps analysers and coating processes stable.

Materials And Process
| Peristaltic tube pump | A tube pump is better for aggressive chemicals and dry running. The gear pump gives smoother flow and handles higher pressure. |
|---|---|
| Diaphragm pump | A diaphragm pump pulses and has valves that can gas lock. A gear pump delivers continuously with no valves. |
Use Guide
Gear pumps do not tolerate abrasive particles. Fit a suction filter suited to the liquid.
The gears rely on the liquid for lubrication. Protect against an empty suction line.
Measure delivered volume against speed on the actual liquid and pressure, then use that curve for control.
If the magnets decouple under load, stop and remove the cause before restarting.
Answers
By shaft speed. Displacement per revolution is fixed, so a variable speed drive gives proportional control.
No. Without liquid the gears have no lubrication and the pump can be damaged quickly.
Yes, where the liquid or the application rules out metal gears.
Circulation, metering and transfer, including ingredient dispense, point of use dispense, lubrication, sampling, additives and sample preparation.
No dynamic seal. The magnetic coupling drives the gear set through a closed housing.
