MTP-LC (Ref 356) is part of the various pigtail range built by Ever Expresslink Limited in Ningbo, China. It is built on the MPO / MTP interface.

MPO carries 12 or 24 fibres in a single MT ferrule aligned by two guide pins, terminated as a trunk and broken out with fan-out assemblies. It is how modern data centers move a whole fiber trunk in one connector and commission a row of racks in hours rather than days.

On the other face it mates to LC (Lucent Connector). LC uses a 1.25 mm ferrule in an RJ-style latch body, giving roughly twice the port density of SC in the same panel width.
