Coaxial Cable Questions
What is super flex feeder and when should I use it?
It is a corrugated feeder built to bend more tightly than standard feeder of the same size. Use it where the route has real obstructions and a standard cable would need a longer path or extra jumpers.
How do I choose between 1/2 inch and 3/8 inch?
Larger cable has lower loss and a larger bend radius. Work out the loss over the actual route at your operating frequency, then take the smallest size that still leaves margin.
Do you supply pre-terminated jumpers?
Yes, jumper assemblies can be supplied cut and connectorised with the matching connector range, which removes the most error-prone step from the site work.
What drum lengths are available?
Standard drum lengths are stocked and custom lengths can be cut for a project. Tell us the total run length and the number of runs and we will advise the most economical drum size.
Is the data cable certified to a category rating?
Category rated data cable is supplied to the stated specification. Confirm the category and the jacket rating your installation requires when you enquire.
