Sanitary Check Valve
A non return valve that protects the pump and the product when flow tries to go backwards.

What This Pump Does
Sanitary check valves in SS304 or SS316L, models SK-CV001 and SK-CV002, sized DN15 to DN200, with weld, clamp or threaded connections to DIN, SMS, 3A, ISO and IDF standards.
Finish is mirror or matt polish with Ra below 0.4 um, working pressure up to 1.0 MPa with vacuum on the low side, and a working temperature band of minus 5 to 95 degrees Celsius. Seal materials are silicone, EPDM or fluoroelastomer.

Use Guide
Installing A Check Valve
Mind The Direction
Fit with the flow arrow correct. It sounds obvious and it is still the most common installation error.
Allow Straight Pipe
Leave straight pipe either side so the valve sees even flow rather than turbulence from a bend.
Include In CIP
Make sure the cleaning circuit reaches the valve, and open it for inspection at planned intervals.
Inspect The Seat
A valve that passes slowly usually has a damaged seat or trapped debris, both visible on inspection.
