What This Pump Does
The milk pump is a sanitary centrifugal pump for the highest hygiene requirements in food processing, dairy, brewing and pharmaceutical work. The impeller rotates with the shaft inside a polished casing, and every wetted surface is finished so that cleaning solution removes product film rather than polishing around it.
Typical duties run from straightforward tank to tank transfer through to evaporators, concentrators, distillation towers, decanting of syrups and purified water loops in pharmaceutical plants, depending on the options fitted.

Running A Sanitary Pump Properly
Size For Both Duties
Check the pump against production flow and against the CIP flow the line needs to clean.
Fit Without Strain
Support the pipework so clamps seat squarely, since a distorted joint leaks and traps product.
