- Keep the powder sealed — polyamide takes up moisture and then foams in the press
- Run a wash test on the actual fabric, not on a cotton reference

Which particle size should I order
0-80 micron for fine screens and thin fabrics, 80-170 micron for general scatter coating, 180-420 micron for heavier coat weights. If your line sits between these, we cut to requirement.
What press temperature does it need
The powder melts at 105-120 C, so the press must take the bond line above that. Set the final parameters from a trial on your own fabric.
Is polyamide powder washable
Polyamide hot melts give high bond strength and hold heat well. For repeated industrial laundering, copolyester is the grade usually specified — tell us the wash cycle and we will point to the right polymer.
Can it be used for heat transfer printing
Yes. It is specified where the highest bond strength is wanted and elasticity is less important.
