Encapsulating A Tyre Pressure Monitoring Sensor With Black Polyamide Resin
A TPMS module has to survive wheel-well temperature swings, road salt and constant vibration, with a battery and a radio on the same small board. Low pressure moulding with black polyamide resin seals all of it in one shot.
Application NoteSealing A Connector And Moulding Strain Relief In One Operation
Hot melts are used for sealing the plug and also for cable strain relief. Doing both in one low pressure shot removes a whole assembly step.
Application NoteBonding Filter Media To End Caps With High Viscosity Polyamide Resin
Filter adhesives fail in a specific way: the adhesive wicks into the pleats and leaves the joint starved. A viscosity of 18000 mPa.s is the answer to that.

Thermoplastic polyurethane, polyamide and polyolefin.
What is the difference between polyamide and polyolefin resin in moulding
Polyolefin has superior adhesion to PP, PE and PET with low hardness and low temperature flexibility. Polyamide bonds better to PA 6.6, ABS and PVC and holds more heat.
How do I choose between the two viscosities
UA-G182C at 5000-7000 mPa.s flows into thin wall encapsulation. UA-G0175 at 18000 mPa.s holds a bead for filter and thick wall work.
Do you supply amber polyamide as well as black
Amber, black and white polyamide resin are supplied for low pressure moulding. Black is listed here; ask by email for the others.
