Polyamide hot melt adhesives are made from renewable raw materials such as castor or rape seed oil. They carry outstanding properties for bonds with higher requirements: very high heat stability, and the same reliability at low temperature. Special polyamide hot melts are capable of passing the temperature tests from -45 C to +135 C that are required in the electrical and electronic sector for the automobile industry, and they resist many chemicals and softeners.
