A preparation and injection solution vessel for pharmaceutical use, jacketed for conduction oil heating and supplied with pressure certification.

Overview
Injection solution tanks are used in the pharmaceutical industry with pressure certification. The liquid preparation vessel makes base liquids before the final reaction, usually with an agitator and an outside jacket for conduction oil, heated by electric rods.
The jacket carries oil inlet and outlet, overflow port, vent port, electric rod ports and a temperature detection port. Stainless construction gives good heat resistance, corrosion resistance and heat transfer, with a mirror polished interior that cleans without residue.
| Example vessel | 500 L preparation vessel |
|---|---|
| Tank material | SUS316L |
| Shell thickness | 4 to 6 mm |
| Working pressure | -1 to 4 bar |
| Working capacity | 500 litres |
| Working temperature | 121 degrees Celsius |
Key Benefits
Stainless material able to bear pressure during material reaction and feeding, supplied with pressure certification.
Conduction oil jacket heated by electric rods with all the ports the system needs, including overflow and temperature detection.
Good heat resistance with a wide working temperature range and good heat transfer through the jacket.
Easy to clean without residue, which is what pharmaceutical cleaning validation requires.
Application Scenarios
Preparing injection solutions in pharmaceutical production with documented pressure rating.
Making base liquids before the final reaction step.
Batches that require controlled heating through a conduction oil jacket.
Construction that bears pressure during reaction and feeding, with certification, removes that question at qualification.
A jacket designed around conduction oil and electric rods gives controllable heat input.
Mirror polished interior surfaces clean without residue rather than holding a film.

Materials And Process
| Mixing tank | A mixing tank is a general preparation vessel. This one is specified for pharmaceutical duty with pressure certification and oil heating. |
|---|---|
| SS reactor | A reactor is built around reaction conditions and jacket type. This vessel is aimed at injection solution and base liquid preparation. |
Use Guide
Material, finish, pressure, temperature and the document list all come from the user requirement specification.
Conduction oil temperature and electric rod rating decide the jacket and port arrangement.
Agitator type, number of layers and speed, matched to the product and the vessel diameter.
Decide at enquiry stage whether IQ, OQ and PQ protocols are required, because they are written around the build.
Answers
Injection solution tanks are supplied for pharmaceutical use with pressure certification.
SUS316L on the example specification, with shell thickness of 4 to 6 mm.
The example vessel lists a working pressure of -1 to 4 bar, working temperature of 121 degrees Celsius and design temperature from a minimum of 10 up to around 150 degrees.
Through an outside jacket carrying conduction oil, heated by electric rods, with oil inlet, outlet, overflow, vent and temperature detection ports.
