The immersible build of the self priming aerator, working under water with no compressor and no air main.

Overview
The immersible aerator is the same self priming aerator principle supplied for installations where the unit sits immersed in the basin. It integrates pump, air blower and gas liquid mixer, and can be placed on the bottom of the aeration pool or fixed to a floating body.
Impeller rotation draws air through the pipe by vacuum in the stator, mixes it with water inside the impeller, and disperses the gas as bubbles of around 100 microns in diameter.
Key Benefits
No compressor or blower is needed, because the impeller creates the vacuum that pulls air down the pipe.
The unit keeps the medium moving while it aerates, which is what activated sludge duty requires.
Bottom mounted or float mounted depending on basin depth and level variation.
Around 100 micron bubbles give the surface area that makes transfer efficient.
Application Scenarios
Continuous oxygen supply and mixing in activated sludge basins.
Sludge stability treatment stages where mixing and oxygen are both required.
Tanks that need intermittent aeration and constant movement of the contents.
A submerged unit works below the surface, which avoids spray, aerosols and cold weather icing.
Drawing air down a pipe from the unit removes the buried air main from the scope.
The unit moves the medium as well as aerating, so solids stay in suspension.

Materials And Process
| SKCB submersible aerator | The same self priming principle. Selection between builds follows basin depth, mounting and the duty point. |
|---|---|
| Submersible mixer | A mixer only moves the contents. Choose it for anoxic zones where air would work against the process. |
Use Guide
Check the unit stays properly submerged at minimum operating level.
Inspect the intake for foam and debris as part of routine checks.
Guide rails or a lifting arrangement turn a service job into a routine task.
Monitor DO so falling transfer is detected before the process reacts.
Answers
Both are self priming aerators on the same principle. The build is chosen on basin depth, mounting arrangement and duty.
Yes. It can be placed on the bottom of the aeration pool or fixed to a floating body.
Yes, the main application is supplying oxygen and mixing the medium transported.
Around 100 microns in diameter.
Pre-gas supply, activated sludge treatment, sludge stabilisation, gas floats, neutralisation, ozone treatment and oxidation ponds.
