What This Pump Does
The colloid mill processes material between a rotor and a stator with a controlled gap. It is used for homogenising, emulsifying, mixing and grinding semi liquid, liquid and latex emulsion products where a mixer alone cannot reach the required fineness.
Applications run across food, chemical and pharmaceutical work: from sesame, fruit preparations, jam, juice, soybean, peanut and protein milks and dairy products, through paint, pigment, dye, coating, lubricant, emulsified asphalt and adhesives, to syrups, creams, ointments and oral liquids.
