What We Make
Seven product families across five ceramic bodies. Every part is made to a customer drawing rather than pulled from a standard size list.
Wear and Structural Parts
Plungers, rods, shafts, guides, seats and structural blocks in zirconia, where a steel part wears out of tolerance inside a service interval.
Electrical Insulators
Steatite and alumina beads, bushings, strips and heating rings that keep their resistivity when the assembly is hot.
Cutting and Seal Components
Zirconia and silicon nitride blades, silicon carbide seal faces and sleeves ground to plus or minus 0.005 mm.
Substrates and Metallized Parts
Alumina substrates from 0.1 mm thick and Mo Mn metallized rings ready to braze into a hermetic assembly.
Seven Ceramic Product Families
Every family is made to drawing. Follow a family to see the full product list, the problems it solves and the industries it serves.

Six industries where a ceramic part removes a recurring failure rather than only improving a specification.
Textile MachineryEvery point where yarn changes direction becomes a wear point, and a grooved guide starts cutting threadSee the parts
Electric Heating EquipmentPolymer and low grade insulation distorts or loses resistivity once the heater is at temperatureSee the parts
Pumps and ValvesMetering accuracy drifts as a hardened steel plunger wears out of roundSee the parts
Semiconductor and ElectronicsDevices run hot because the isolating layer also blocks the thermal pathSee the parts
Medical Food and LaboratoryMetal debris from a worn blade contaminating a food or medical product lineSee the partsWhat Problem We Solve
Parts That Wear Out of Tolerance
Hardened steel plungers, guides and seal faces score and drift. A zirconia or silicon carbide replacement holds the dimension for far longer in the same duty.
Insulation That Fails When Hot
Polymer and low grade ceramic insulators lose resistivity or distort at working temperature. Steatite and alumina hold up to 1100 and 1650 degrees C.
Ceramic That Will Not Join to Metal
A hermetic assembly needs a brazeable surface. Mo Mn metallizing at 25 plus or minus 10 microns with nickel plating solves it, and the brazing can be done here.
Minimums That Block a Trial
Alumina plate starts at 1 piece, blades and substrates at 10 pieces, so an engineering trial does not need a production commitment.
Why Customers Choose Us
All processes from raw material preparation, forming, surface grinding and internal and external diameter grinding through to precision CNC machining are carried out in house.
How We Work
Four routes into production, each written around a procurement problem rather than a process list.
Application Notes
Engineering notes written from our own product data. They are not customer case studies and no client names or results are implied.
Dosing Pump Plunger Application NoteA metering plunger has to hold its diameter in a packed gland while the medium it doses is often abrasive, corrosive or ...
Flexible Pad Heater Application NoteA pad heater has to bend around the workpiece while carrying a resistance element at temperatures that destroy metal she...
Hermetic Feedthrough Application NoteA hermetic joint fails at the ceramic surface, not in the braze alloy. If the metallized layer is thin, patchy or oxidis...Knowledge Center

Comparison GuideZirconia vs Alumina How to Choose the Right Technical CeramicAlumina is harder and cheaper. Zirconia is tougher and stronger. The choice comes down to section thickness, impact and whether the duty is thermal or mechanical.

Material GuideSteatite Ceramic Explained Talc Based InsulatorsSteatite is the body inside most electric heating equipment. It is made from mineral talc, it holds resistivity when hot, and it costs less than alumina.Download Datasheets
