Product Overview
This is the second Artos pin plate profile we manufacture, with a wider base than the standard Artos plate. The pin arrangement is unchanged: two rows of pins about 5 mm long at three to four pins per centimetre, thickened at the base to keep the fabric clear of the hot base plate.
Which of the two an Artos frame takes depends on the holder, and the reliable way to establish that is a sample plate rather than a machine model number.

How do I know if I need the wide base?
If the standard Artos plate will not seat properly. Send us the plate you are replacing and we identify it.
Does the wider base change the pinning?
No. Pin length, row count and density are the same as the standard Artos plate.
Can you make other widths?
Yes, from a sample. Cut-to-sample is routine work for us.
Do you supply the matching holder?
Yes, and we recommend renewing both together, because a worn seat will damage a new plate.
Is there a minimum order?
No fixed minimum. Trial sections are normal for a first order.
