LSAW line pipe is large diameter pipe formed from plate and closed with a longitudinal submerged arc weld, supplied in the L grade series used for transmission duty. Pipeline contractors, water authorities and gas distribution engineers specify it for low pressure liquid delivery of water, gas and oil where diameters run beyond what a strip mill can produce. Ordering the pipe with its external coating and its EN 10204 certificate already in place removes the coating yard and the paperwork chase from the project schedule.
