Why Consolidation Matters On A Lifting Order

A typical order is slings from one plant, hoists from a second, Grade 80 rigging from a third and ton bags from a fourth. Shipped separately that is four sets of freight, four customs entries and four arrival dates, and the site cannot start until the last one lands.

We have a logistics warehouse in Ningbo, which is convenient to load goods and ship them together. Goods from each factory arrive there, are checked against the order, and are loaded into the same container.

What Happens At Consolidation

Goods are counted against the packing list, the marking on the cartons is checked, and certificates are matched to the items they belong to before the container is loaded.

Export Packing

Packing follows the product. Slings are individually bagged and cartoned, pulling hoists are packed in cartons and then in a wooden case, snatch blocks go in high quality cartons or wooden boxes, and Grade 80 chain ships in steel drums.

Lead Times To Plan Around

Soft slings normally take 30 to 45 days depending on order quantity and season. Manual hoists take about 30 days at a minimum order quantity of 20 pieces per size. Permanent lifting magnets normally take 30 to 40 days. Pulling hoists take about 30 days at 20 pieces per capacity.
