What The Polyester Flat Webbing Sling Is
The flat webbing sling is the workhorse of soft slinging. A flat woven polyester band with a sewn eye at each end spreads the load over a wide contact area, so it lifts painted, machined and coated surfaces without the marking that a chain or wire rope sling leaves behind.

How To Use The Polyester Flat Webbing Sling Safely
- Read the label and confirm the working load limit before every lift, and confirm it again against the colour code.
- Reduce the capacity for the lifting method and the angle of inclination using the mode factors in the table above.
- Never lift over a sharp edge without a protective sleeve or edge protector.
- Withdraw any sling with a cut, a chemical burn, a damaged eye or an unreadable label.
- Keep personnel clear of the load and out of the line of the sling while the slack is taken up.
- Store the sling clean, dry and out of direct sunlight when it is not in use.

What does the safety factor mean on a webbing sling?
It is the ratio between the minimum breaking force of the sling and its working load limit. A 7:1 sling breaks at seven times its marked working load limit. We build to 5:1, 6:1, 7:1 or 8:1 according to the market you sell into.
Can you weave our own brand into the webbing?
Yes. OEM brand marking on the webbing and a customer specific label layout are both standard options, and the label content can be modified to local standards where required.
What is the minimum order quantity?
Order quantity depends on width and capacity. Send the sizes and quantities you need to [email protected] and we will confirm the minimum for that combination.
How long does production take?
Normally 30 to 45 days depending on the order quantity and the season.
Is a certificate supplied with the slings?
Every sling is packed in a plastic bag with a CE declaration of conformity. Material and test certificates can be issued when they are requested at the time of order.
