Municipal landscaping teams in coastal Chinese cities face the same problem every storm season. Street trees, both newly planted and mature, are exposed to typhoon force wind before their root systems can anchor them, and a tree that falls in a live street is a serious hazard.

Our Solution

Carl Stahl 2.5T lashing ratchets were assembled on the trees. The broad polyester webbing spreads the pull across the trunk rather than cutting into the bark, the ratchet lets one operator reach the required tension from a platform without effort, and the assembly can be retensioned in seconds as the tree settles.

Manufacturing Process And Quality Control

Every item that ships is tested to the level its product family requires. Grade 80 components are individually proof tested at 2.5 times the working load limit and given 100 percent magnaflux crack detection. Soft slings are sample proof loaded to the declared safety factor and individually bagged with a CE declaration of conformity.

Supply Chain Coordination

Goods from each factory are delivered into our logistics warehouse in Ningbo, checked against the packing list and the certificates, and loaded into one shipment. That keeps a project order arriving as a single delivery rather than in parts.

Final Result

The lashing ratchet assemblies were installed on avenue trees ahead of the typhoon season, giving the municipal team a bracing method that could be inspected and retensioned through the season rather than retied.
