What The Chain Sling Tag Is
Every sling in service has to carry its identification. The tag is what links the assembly to its certificate, its working load limit and its inspection record, and it has to survive the same environment as the sling itself.
Stainless steel 304 tags are laser marked with the fields the assembler requires, typically the working load limit, the certificate number and the sling identification number, and they can carry the customer brand logo. Round and octagonal shapes are both available.
