How much capacity does a lifting magnet really have on our plate?
It depends on the plate thickness and the surface roughness. Below Ra 6.3 um there is no surface gap and the capacity is 100 percent. Above that the air gap curve on the lifter gives the percentage to apply.
Which sling should we use in a foundry?
Grade 80 chain sling chain to EN 818-2. Polyester slings are not suitable for hot work.
Do you supply the sling identification tags?
Yes, in stainless steel 304, marked with the working load limit, the certificate number, the sling ID number and your logo.
